机械设计制造及其自动化

“机械设计制造及其自动化”专业集机械、电子、光学、信息、材料、能源和机械装备管理等高新技术于一体高等工程本科专业,是为将机电液(机械、电气、电子、液压、液力)一体化应用于现代机械装备上的装备制造业这一国民经济支柱产业培养人才的专业。

厦门大学嘉庚学院 “机械设计制造及其自动化专业”创办于2004年。本专业创办之初,首先依托厦门大学的师资力量,借鉴母体大学的办学经验,具备了较高的办学起点。在此基础上,本专业根据市场需求和办学条件,深入进行教学研究和教学改革,逐步完善本专业的人才培养方案,形成了具有“应用型+复合型+个性化”结合以“知识、能力、素质、个性”协调统一的专业办学特色。一直秉承厦门大学嘉庚学院 “面向人才市场办学,通过市场谋求发展”的战略思路,坚持以人为本,努力构建与我国经济体制改革协调发展的专业结构,顺应我国机械行业人才市场不断变化发展的要求,培养具有社会适应性、可持续发展的应用型本科人才。

本专业的主要研究领域包括机电液的基本理论和各类机械产品及系统的设计方法、制造技术、自动控制等。让学生较好掌握与之相关的理论、技能和方法,是本专业教学的基本出发点。本专业现已建成投入2000多万元资金的专业实验室,配备了各种数控加工设备、五轴联动加工中心、复合加工设备、柔性制造系统、机械制造实训基地、现代设计创新室等各种与本专业相关的先进实验装置,为学生创造了先进完善的实习实验条件。

本专业现有专职教师 17人,其中具有高级职称8人,具有博士学位2人,具有高水平的师资队伍;目前正承担省级教学改革项目5项,是省级综合改革试点专业。本专业的学生多年来在大学生创新创业项目以及各种技能竞赛中,成果显著。很多毕业生深受用人单位的好评。

根据多年就业市场反馈的信息,本专业在我国改革开放以来一直是名副其实的热门专业,被誉为含而不露的“就业大佬”、“最吃香的十大热门专业”之一。本科毕业生可在国内外各行业的科研院所、厂矿企业及政府机关从事与机械设计、制造、机械装备管理等相关的研究、生产、管理与商务等工作,也可以进一步攻读相关专业的硕士学位或出国深造发展。

Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation is a engineering course which covers high technologies such as mechanics, electronics, optics, information, materials, energy ,management and mechanical equipment,and aims at cultivating talents for mechanical-electro hydraulic (mechanics, electrical engineering and electronics, and hydraulic pressure) which is the pillar industry of national economydevelopment.

"mechanical design and manufacturing and automation" in Xiamen university Jiageng college  was founded at2004.This professional started from the beginning of the first relying on Xiamen university faculty, introducing the experience of parent university, has the high school starting point.On this basis, this professional according to the market demand and school-running conditions, in-depth teaching research and reform, gradually improve the professional talent training scheme, formed a "applied + complex and personalized" combined with "knowledge, ability and quality, personality" harmonious and unified professional characteristics.Jiageng college has been adhering to the xiamen university "facing the talent market, through the market to seek development" strategic thinking, adhere to the people-oriented, strive to build and the coordinated development of the economic system reform in our country professional structure, meet the development of China's machinery industry talent market changing requirements, training applied undergraduate talents with social adaptability, sustainable development.

The research areas include mechanical electro hydraulic fundamentals and design methods of diverse mechanic products, manufacturing technology and automatic control. The basic starting point of teaching is to enable students to grasp the pertinent knowledge, techniques and skills. Over RMB 40,000,000 has been invested in building professional laboratories well equipped with a variety of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, five-axis machining center, composite processing equipment, flexible manufacturing system, practical training base, and modern design innovation laboratory and many other  major-related advanced experimental equipment, to offer students advanced and perfect facilities for internship and experiments.

This major existing 17 full-time teachers  , including 8 senior position,2 has a doctorate, making a quality teaching staff group with high academic standard and we are now undertaking 5 items of educational reform on Provincial level. Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Their Automation Specialty of MEE Department is one of the comprehensive reform pilot majors in Fujian Province, and the students if this major have attained remarkable achievements in a variety of competitions for years. The graduate students are acclaimed for their excellent performance.
