机械电子工程

“机械电子工程”专业是现代工业高速发展,新理论、新技术、新系统和新产品不断涌现的背景下发展的新兴学科,是集机械、电子、信息、计算机等技术为一体的综合性应用技术学科,在机电一体化设备和自动化生产过程中得到广泛的应用,对科技的发展起着重大推进作用。

科学技术的高速发展,社会分工的细化,对机械电子工程(简称机电)专业人员提出更高的要求,并把“具有厚实的理论基础,熟练操作机电设备,较强的维护管理能力,较好应用新技术能力,有一定创新精神”作为机电专业人才的培养目标。鲜明的产业结构特色与新的专业培养目标,为我院的机械电子工程专业建设奠定了坚实的基础,同时也对机电专业建设提出了新的要求。在此背景下,厦门大学嘉庚学院于2009年创办了“机械电子工程”专业,从创办开始到现在始终坚持培养应用型本科人才,始终坚持人才培养需求与产业需求无缝对接的原则,逐渐形成具有自我特色的可持续发展专业。

经过4年的发展和建设,本专业已形成一支思想素质高、道德品质好、业务能力精、实践能力强、教学质量过硬、具有“双师型”结构的师资队伍,其中副高及以上的职称的教师8名。同时,建成了国内一流的专业实验室,包括金工实训基地、机电一体化柔性系统、工业网络控制系统、模拟工厂系统、数控加工设备、电工电子技能实训装置、仪表及过程控制系统、电子工艺生产线、电子设计创新实验室等设备,完全满足本专业的实践教学和创新培养的需求。

本专业以培养适应社会需求的机电一体化领域的高级工程技术人才为目标。以机械为载体,以电子技术、自动控制技术及计算机技术应用为主体,通过课堂实践教学,结合参加机械创新大赛、大学生创新性科研训练、CAD三维创新设计、智能车、足球机器人竞赛等各种全国性竞赛,不断增强实践能力和团队合作精神,使毕业生具有较宽的知识面和开阔的思路,具有较强的创新意识、工作能力和较强的择业竞争能力。

厦门乃至海峡经济区,是以高新技术为代表的新型“知识经济”区。本专业正是以培养现代机械电子工程师为目标的“知识能力型”专业,将机械学、电子学、信息技术、计算机技术、控制技术等有机融合,形成知识结构先进,适应面宽广,发展潜力大,综合性强、就业需求大的热门专业,将造就从事机电系统应用、开发、研究及教学工作的高层次人才。同时,本科生所具备的知识条件和实践能力,可为毕业后提供更灵活、更自主的就业选择或继续深造的研究方向。

Mechanical and Electronic Engineering (MEE) is a new discipline emerging in the context of the fast development of industry with new theories, new technology, new system and new products springing up. It integrates technologies of mechanics, electronics, information and computer and makes itself into a comprehensive applied discipline. NowMEE is widely applied in the production of mechatronic device and automation, which contributes greatly to the advancement of science and technology.

The rapid development of science and technology, the refinement of social division of labor, the mechanical and electrical engineering (hereinafter referred to as mechanical and electrical) professionals put forward higher requirements, and the "has a solid theoretical foundation, familiar with electrical and mechanical equipment, strong ability of maintenance and management, better new technology application ability, has the certain innovation spirit" as a mechanical and electrical professional talent training goal.Distinctive industrial structure features and the new professional training goal, for our mechanical electronic engineering construction laid a solid foundation, at the same time, it puts forward new requirements for mechanical and electrical specialty construction.Under this background, the jiageng college of xiamen university in 2009 founded the "machinery and electronics engineering" professional, from start to now, always adhere to the training applied undergraduate talents, and always adhere to the requirements of talent training and the principle of industry demand for seamless docking, gradually formed with the characteristic of self professional sustainable development.

After four years of development and construction,on the teaching staff there are teachers with high professional and moral standards, competent academically, and experienced in lecturing and teaching, of whom 8 are associate professors or professors. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of practical teaching and the cultivation of innovative ability in the students in mechanical and electronic engineering, first-class specialized laboratories have been built, which involves metalworking practical training base, mechatronic flexible system, industrial network control system, simulating plant system, CNC machining device, electro-technical & electronic skills practical training equipment, instrumentation and process control system, electronic technology production line, and electronic design & innovation laboratory.

MEE aims at fostering senior engineering and technical professionals in the mechatronic field to meet the needs of our society. With Mechanics as the base, the application of electronic technology, automation control technology, automation control technology and computer technology are the focus of our attention. By means of practical classroom teaching, combined with a variety of mechanical innovation competitions, such as Undergraduate Innovative Research Training, CAD Innovation Design, Smart Car Contest, and Football Robot Competition, the students’ practical skills and perspective are broadened. As a result, they have a keen sense of innovation, great working competence and strong career competitiveness.
